 The Edmond Brown Graduate Prize in Physics: Presented to an outstanding graduate student in Physics, Applied Physics and Astronomy for research in theoretical condensed matter physics.

The G. Howard Carragan Award (1961): Presented to a senior in Physics, Applied Physics and Astronomy for outstanding scholarship.

The Nadia Trinkala Service Award: Presented to a student majoring in Physics or Applied Physics who has made significant contributions to the community and to the quality of life at Rensselaer and the City of Troy.

The Richard Madey '43 Prize: Presented to the undergraduate physics major with the highest grade point average at the end of the junior year.

The Robert Resnick Academic Prize: Presented to an undergraduate student majoring in Physics or Applied Physics for Academic Achievement.

The Robert Resnick Physics Mentoring Award: The Fund shall be used by Rensselaer to financially support an award that celebrates outstanding mentoring by an undergraduate student in the Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy.
